My name is Christine Howard RN, IBCLC. I am a registered nurse and a board-certified lactation consultant. I have been a registered nurse in women's services for 20 years: postpartum, nursery, and the NICU are my areas of expertise. I became IBCLC certified in lactation in 2015. In addition, I have been helping moms breastfeed for the last two decades!

 From my own experiences, as the mother of 5 boys, breastfeeding isn't always easy. I breastfed all my babies, and I can honestly say there were times I wanted to quit (many times). Each baby had their own unique breastfeeding journey. I encountered many challenges, including painful latch, tongue ties, and going back to work, to name a few. I remember feeling stressed and unsure, and I often wondered if it was worth it. However, I also understand the joys of breastfeeding. I will forever cherish those moments.
